The Rapture of The Church
This sermon was preached by Jimmy Swaggart on January 12, 1985 at the National Stadium during the Kingston, Jamaica Crusade where several thousand were in attendance. This sermon message is taken from I Thessalonians 4:16-18 and includes music from the Crusade Team.
17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The pouring out of the Holy Ghost upon God’s people is the greatest sign that the rapture is about to take place and Jesus is about to come.
In this message, Jimmy Swaggart brings out some common questions regarding the rapture. What is the rapture? Who will go in the rapture? When will it take place? What is the difference between the rapture and the Second Coming of Christ? This is a powerful message that you need to hear.
Any church that does not believe in the mighty baptism in the Holy Ghost is teaching little more than philosophy. They tell you what you once had, and what may come in the future, but they offer nothing now.
The cross of Jesus Christ separates us from the world. The Holy Ghost separates us from a cold, decadent, dead, carnal church

The rapture is a false teaching based on 1 Thes 4:17. These people are those who have died in Christ and are waiting on the first resurrection. Those who remain are those who go through the endurance of Revelation Story. Revelation 20:6 thru11, thru 15. The Bible is the greatest book ever written, which tells us to prove all things and hold on to those things which are good, 1 Thes. 5:21. Also look at Joel 2:28-32. The Holy Spirit is your teacher, be careful, the winds of doctrine are blowing in all directions. 2 Cor.1 thru 7. Be careful how you shake your heads in church in agreement, sometimes you have to disagree. Do like the Bereans, study. All desolation is coming.
